Wow, all good things huh?- when we first met, I found this blog difficult because of it's honesty, however it quickly ended up becoming very comforting to read, but change is always good.

And yes, I totally agree with Sally!

We all knew it would end, but now? NOW? Okay. Now. Thank you, it's all right, we'll survive, but to those who wait to see the next chapter in the Book of Palmer, I know you won't disappoint.

The hotel I stayed in was a nice Comfort Suites, but located on a sketchy boulavard. When I pushed my bicycle into the lobby and unslung my backpack, the young desk clerk looked askance at me, but politely listened to my room request. Sizing up my makeup, beautiful haircut, and unblinking stare, he gave me a room, but he didn't want to. He just didn't have the balls to refuse someone who gave the impression of a real person who just happened to ride to the hotel on a bike. Rule C: arrogance and confidance can smooth over a lot of tricky situations!

You're right, a fork in the road not chosen is always a "might have been." The road forked when the nasty Immigration people in England asked you to leave, but the only one with an arrow was Buffalo. Even tho you wondered where that other road went, you took the one with the arrow that your mom was frantically waving towards. Thank you, now on your way, the other fork has a sign now, and it says, Maybe...
